Super Talent is going to produce three different sized SSDs for the EeePC. A 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB drive at $53, $79, and $149. Those are some pretty sweet prices if you ask me. Not that you would want to upgrade your EeePC’s storage space anyway, no, not with the MASSIVE 8gbs you already have.. I kid, but those prices aren’t final, and they are set to go into production this November.

MSI will introduce the Wind U120 netbook in the next few months. Apparently, the U120 will support 3.5G wireless networking, 10 inch screen, 20GB or 40GB hard drive, with an optional Solid state drive in the future. Also pricing details are a bit sketchy at this point, but should cost less than $600 from what we’re told.

24 hours, pretty good benchmark to reach for a laptop don’t you think? It’s exactly what the HP EliteBook 6930p can manage up to! It utilises the newer SSD hard disks that add 7 percent to battery life because of lower power consumption requirements. They’ve also added the option of mercury-free LED screen (14.1-inch) which add another 4 hours to the battery life.
Looks like to get the target of 24 hours you need to purchase the ultra-capacity battery, upgrade to the LED display and 80 gigabyte version of the SSD.
Should be avliable in October some time.
