Well, what a disappointment! The LittleBigPlanet create mode which allows up to four users to create at the same time will only be available in off-line mode, with the online version becoming available via a patch sometime in the future.
I’ve already had a chance to play the game at the LittleBigPlanet store in Manchester UK, which only made me want it more!!! can’t wait for the release!!!!
The ability to create with your friends online will come as part of the first major update after the game is released,” Sam wrote. “Offline creating with up to 4 people on one PlayStation 3 however is available right from the get go.”

LittleBigPlanet release date has been brought forward to Oct 24th in UK and 21st in US, however there are no indications if the rest of Europe will see a change of date.
That’s just a month or so away, hopefully Play.com will delivery my order in-time for the weekend.

The Guitar Hero: Aerosmith demo has released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. But won’t be available on the PS3 until September 7th because unlike the Xbox 360, it only gets updated once a week.

- Sweet Emotion and Dream (Aerosmith)
- Walk this Way (Run DMC)
- I Hate Myself for Loving You (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts)

For those with some imagination, Sony have started a contest for Little Big Planet. To enter you need to design an outfit for a SackBoy or SackGirl, the winner will have their design listed for download on the Playstation store. End date September 30th 2008 at 11:59 PST.
Shame, its only available to those living in the US!

Today, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 2 will be released on 24th of October in Europe on the Playstation 3, Windows PC and the Xbox 360. Can’t come soon enough for some but I’m pretty much a sports games only fan, with the exception of Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid.
Ubisoft also unveiled the Far Cry 2 Collectors’ Edition that will include:
- Exclusive wooden box, ohhh
- Original Far Cry 2 Game
- Limited edition Far Cry 2 t-shirt for the geeky
- The Art of Far Cry 2 Art book
- Collector 50km² map
- Making-of DVD

I’m looking forward to the release, enjoyed the first one plenty! Hopefully the loads times have improved, wondering why it has to be limited demo release.
Three Speech has just heard that a demo of hotly anticipated off-road racer, MotorStorm Pacific Rift (as if we need to explain what MSPR is to you guys…) will be made available to a lucky few next Thursday. Some of you lucky lucky people will be selected at random to receive an email with a voucher code allowing you to download the demo, with it being made available to everyone else next month.

Seems like when it comes to Playstation Store updates, the EU always gets the short stick! I’ve tried the PS3 Pure demo which is a hefty download at 1.6GB. Its pretty similar to Motorstorm but doesn’t seem have the same appeal.

Its seems Sony have decided to allow you to copy recorded TV shows to any compatible MPEG-4 device. Which is a lot better than before where as it was limited to the PSP with DRM protection. The CVG review has plenty of screenshots of it in action, not sure about the interface myself.

Little big planet for the playstation 3, I’ve been eagerly awaiting its release since the announcement was first made. For those who can’t wait it looks like there will be a beta this month however no signs as to when. Also it looks like there will be no demo, well not before the release anyway.
