Apple re-released iTunes 8 for Windows

It appears that Apple has re-released iTunes 8 for Windows, after Vista users where complaining about continuously getting a Blue Screen Of Death after installing iTunes 8.

People who want to install the fixed version of iTunes 8, are advised to uninstall any other versions of iTunes 8 before attempting to install the new version .

iPhone 2.1 firmware out now

Just on Tuesday, Apple announced the latest firmware update version 2.1 and now its out. Looks like the backup procedure has be improved, hurray! hopefully I won’t have to wait an hour or so for my backups to complete.

Apple admit iPod was invented by a British man

Finally, the British get some credit! Two years ago Kane Kramer told newspapers he’d invented the device in 1979 which didn’t get him far with his case but when Apple needed him for a law suit filed by burst.com they were happy to call him and help them settle the case.

His invention, called the IXI, stored only 3.5 minutes of music on to a chip – but Mr Kramer rightly believed its capacity would improve.
