LittleBigPlanet 1.07 Patch Released

1.07 patch adds some new functionality that users should find very handy. The ability to search for levels using names or tags is the biggest addition, however my favourite is the ability to view highest rated, most hearted, newest and the busiest levels, which gives you a nice overview of whats hot or not, rather than wasting time going through random levels.

There’s also a new shop that shows all available content for download, read on for more details on that.

kotaku have posted some Street Fighter IV (4) gameplay screenshots! The graphics look very artistic and cool, definitely check them out! Its set for release next year (20th February 2009) on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Playstation Home, It’s Getting Closer!

Sony have given Playstation Home its very own website over at playstation.com! Home recently expanded its closed beta, opening its doors to a further 100,000 users. Hopefully if everything goes well we could see a open beta before the end of 2008.

Konami Attributes 88% Profit Boost To MGS4 (Mostly)

With help from the PlayStation 3-exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of Patriots, Konami are predicting a 88 percent rise in profit to $119.6 million, compared to $63.7 million during the same period last year! Not bad for exclusive, huh?. There’s more number crunching figures after the jump!

New Alan Wake Cinematic Trailer

Yeah, you read that right, new Alan Wake stuff here. I mean, its only been like two years, so not a big deal, but there is a new trailer, or preview, i’m not sure what it would be at this point. teaser? Anyways, Remedy has also released some new gameplay details as well.

Light will play a very big part in the world around Alan. As enemies grow stronger in the darkness and in a world where light will gradually diminish through the coarse of the game. Of coarse, there is the crazy story and story elements i’m sure most of us are familiar with.

Fifa 2009 Takes Top Spot In The UK

Fifa has taken top spot in its first week of release in the UK, which was not unexpected. It would have been quite interesting if PES 2009 was released at the same time though! Anyway, if nothing else does, PES 2009 should take the top spot from Fifa 09 in a couple weeks time.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 demo available 2nd October

Konami have announced a five-minute exhibition match demo for PES 2009, which should hit the PSN store this Thursday 2nd October! Should also be available for Xbox 360 and ever the lasting PC, can’t wait!!!!

The download will also include promo videos for the new “Become a Legend” and online “Legends” modes, where you elect to control only one player on the pitch rather than the whole team. Only time will tell how these new modes will play or if they end up being just boring.

Apparently, the Official Playstation Magazine in the UK has given LBP 10/10! That’s quite a score to live up to!!! They’ve also included a free Kratos Sackboy code with the current issue!

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 update and new screenshots

konami have announced some last minute additions to Pro Evolution Soccer before its release next month. It will include some more licenses, which is always a plus! Manchester United, Real Madrid etc will get updates which probably means Berbatov for united? Wembley Stadium, Stade De France, and Stadio Olimpico di Torino will be the stadium additions.

The game is due out next month on the 11th.
