European Commission: No tying of Internet Explorer in Windows

The European Commission has sent a Statement of Objectives to Microsoft, concerning Internet Explorer in the Windows Operating System. Because Microsoft is tying its web browser with Windows, they abuse their dominant position in the software industry. Customers should be able to choose the web browser of their choice.
